Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via websites of AdWords customers. Conversion cookies are used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers which use conversion tracking. AdWords customers find out how many users have clicked on their advertisement and were forwarded to sites with a conversion tracking tag. However, AdWords customers do not receive any information which enable users to be identified personally. If you do not wish to take part in the tracking, you may object to this use. In this case, the conversion cookie must be deactivated in the browser’s user settings. This way, nothing will be recorded in the conversion tracking statistics either.
