The German manufacturer announces the launch of a panel with 400 W output for the private sector. The panel will be available in serial production from the third quarter of 2021 onwards.

Located in Prenzlau, Brandenburg, the panel manufacturer and system provider has announced the set up of a new production line with extended production capacity. The full development and production of aleo´s solar panels is taking place in the Eastern German town since 2001.

“As a German company, it was particularly important to us to strengthen the local market and produce a particularly sustainable product.” says aleo’s CEO William Chen. The equipment for the new line was predominantly sourced from Europe.

Aleo will produce it´s new panel generation on their new line. Including the flagship product: a 400 W panel with white back-sheet for rooftop applications. A panel with black back-sheet will be available as well.

In addition, the manufacturer has announced the availability of a small panel which can be interconnected with the corresponding regular panel. This will enable a more efficient use of “difficult” roof areas. The Solrif in-roof system will also be transferred to the new line.

The comprehensive warranty packages that the company currently offers will be upheld. “We are convinced of the reliability and longevity of our panels. Therefore, it is self-evident to us that we continue providing our 25-year product and performance guarantee. Supporting both our existing and new customers with high-quality products in the long term is important to us.”
