For the 23rd time, the TOP 100 of Germany’s innovative medium-sized enterprises has been released and aleo solar is a part of this innovation-elite in 2016.
More than 4000 companies were interested in participating in the TOP 100 competition. 238 took the plunge into the TOP100 in 3 different categories.
In 5 assessment categories, more than 100 parameters were tested by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team from theVienna University of Economics: “Innovation climate”, “Innovative processes and organization”, “Innovation marketing”, “Innovation supporting Top-management” and “Innovation revenue”.
The Top-Innovator aleo solar GmbH earned its position in the TOP 100 because of its outstanding innovation climate among others. CEO William Chen encourages his 330 employees to contribute their own ideas. “Beside the production of long lasting solar panels we invest most of our energy in the permanent development of our solar panels and new solutions.” says William Chen.
The major of the town of Prenzlau, where aleo’s production is located, Hendrik Sommer and Silke Liebher, head of economic promotion and tourism, nominated aleo for this contest. “The award is an indicator of the performance of aleo and Prenzlau as the location of business. For the future we wish aleo all the best for further success and innovations.” congratulates Sommer.
The TOP 100 are the trendsetters of their business. This is proven by the figures of the evaluation. 97 national market leaders and 32 world market leaders are a part of the TOP 100. On average 40% of the revenue was obtained by new products and product improvements, which were brought to market before competitors could do so.
